Summer Block Party Series

Summer Block Party Series

June + August

Live music, food, beverages, neighbors meeting neighbors and fun times for everyone! The Clarkdale Downtown Business Alliance along with Town of Clarkdale and The Clarkdale Foundation sponsor the annual Summer Block Party series. Admission is free. Clarkdale Block Parties are on the last Fridays in June and August from 6pm until 9pm.

The Town of Clarkdale Parks & Recreation Department has been providing free concerts to the community since 2001. Every concert is geared to provide an evening of family fun for all ages to enjoy. Concerts are performed from the Clarkdale Town Park Gazebo located at 1001 Main St. and are always FREE to the public. Our concert series runs from June through September and performances are two hours (times to be determined); with a 5-10 minute break at the halfway mark.

Join us for the bi-annual Gem & Mineral Show in Clarkdale Arizona (25 minutes from Sedona) in February and September of each year. Free Admission! This show is packed with vendors offering crystals, minerals, gemstones, jewelry, fossils, cabochons, findings, rock slabs, geodes and more. Daily raffles. Kids Corner.

Every October

Well, it's not really like Oktoberfest although there is beer involved. It's Clarkdale's unique event, a fall festival that is a street fair, concert, beer garden and a fun time for all. There will be food, drink, music, and activities for both kids and adults. Brought to you by the Clarkdale Downtown Business Alliance and The Clarkdale Foundation this tradition was started in 2014 and is going strong!

Magical Christmas Journey

Magical Christmas Journey

Every December

The Magical Christmas Journey™ to the North Pole begins at the Verde Canyon Railroad depot in Clarkdale. Seasonal treats and libation may be purchased and enjoyed while perusing the depot grounds rich with festive lighting and holiday décor. Luminarias light the Southwestern-style depot roofline and giant ornaments adorn the outdoor pergolas dripping with icicle lights. Santa’s elves entertain and tell the tale of the beautiful Princess Noel and Flurry the Christmas Eagle while songs of the season fill the air.

Every March

The Clarkdale Car Show is held annually in beautiful, historic downtown Clarkdale. There will be live music, beer, food and rally car races. On display you can view all years, makes and models of cars, trucks, sports cars, antique cars and street rods. Admission is free! Fun for the whole family.

Clarkdale Criterium Bike Race

Clarkdale Criterium Bike Race

Every April

The Clarkdale Criterium Bike Race (hosted by Verde Valley Bicycle Company) takes place in Downtown Clarkdale in April of each year. The event includes bicycle races (of all ability levels), live music, a beer garden, farmer's market, kids’ activities, and even free tai chi lessons. Not a rider? No worries! Come out and enjoy the festivities at Town Park! This family-friendly event will have participants racing through Historical Downtown Clarkdale in various levels of criterium races.
